The Robinson Canal Bridge on highway 56 in Chauvin is currently closed and will be closed for a while. When traveling down make sure to take the route that takes you down highway 57 through Dulac rather than taking highway 56 through Chauvin the entire way. If booking lodging on your own please be aware of this so you do not end up staying over an hour away.
